WHEN TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT ME

Author unknown

When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not there to see. If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you and each time you think of me I know I'll miss you too. But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand and said my place was ready in heaven far above. And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye, for all my life I'd always thought I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, so much left to do. It seems almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd say good-bye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, for emptiness and memories would take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you and when I did my heart filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, from his great throne, He said: "This is eternity and all I've promised, today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, but today will be the last. And since each day's the same way there's no longing for the past. You have been so faithful, so trusting and so true. Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven and now at last you're free. So won't you come and take my hand and share your life wih me? " So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart. For everytime you think of me I'm right here in you heart.

Saving the memories, for times they are in need,
For you to remember when you bleed
Support comes at last to those
who have desperation and have not chose.
A place to think, a place to heal
A place to compare the shame and ordeal
No more self-pity, no more remorse
No more submitting because of force.
A support of strength, a support that cares,
A support that you can have in times of despair
A life composed, a life of seeing
A life that is not just dreaming
Pride comes home, prides repairing
Pride makes life mow worth sharing
To return to the past, to go back to sad
would make my feelings become bad.
For temper would return, hate takes its toll
Loss of love has now got control
Peace is tranquil, peace is sublime
Now my son has all my time
I cannot forgive, I cannot forget
The scar is there and he doesn't regret
Knowledge is wider regarding my horror
But I will never, ever forget my terror.

WHERE WAS GOD

I know where my GOD was the morning of September 11, 2001, and He was very busy!
He was trying to discourage anyone from taking these flights.
Those four flights together held over 1000 passengers and there were only 266 aboard.

He was on 4 commercial flights giving terrified passengers the ability to stay calm.
Not one of the family members who were called by a loved one on one of the high-jacked planes said that passengers were screaming in the background.

On one of the flights he was giving strength to passengers to try to overtake the highjackers.
He was busy trying to create obstacles for employees at the World Trade Center.
After all, only around 20,000 were at the towers when the first jet hit.
Since the buildings held over 50,000 workers, this was a Miracle in itself.

How many of the people who were employed at the World Trade Center told the media that they were late for work or they had traffic delays.

He was holding up 2-110 story buildings so that 2/3 of the workers could get out.
I was so amazed that the top of the towers didn't topple when the jets impacted.
And when they did fall, they fell inward.
GOD didn't allow them to topple over, as many more lives would have been lost.

And when the buildings went down, my GOD picked up almost 6,000 of his children and carried them home with him.
Reassuring his frighten children that the worst was over and the best was yet to come.

He sat down and cried that 19 (Terrorist Attackers) of his children could have so much hate in their hearts.
That they didn't choose him, but another God that doesn't exist, and now they are lost forever.

He sent his children that are best trained for this disaster and had them save the few that were still alive, but unable to help themselves.
And then sent many others to help in anyway they were needed.

He still isn't finished though, he held the love ones that were left behind in his arms.
He comforts them daily. His other children are given the strength to reach out to them and help them in any way they can.
And I believe he will continue to help us in what is to come.

He will give the people in charge of this great nation the strength and the wisdom to do the right thing.
He would never leave us in our time of need.

So when anyone asks, "Where was your GOD on
September 11", you can say "everywhere"!

And yes, although this is without a doubt the worst thing I have seen in my life, I see God's miracles in every bit of it.

I keep praying for those who don't believe in GOD, every chance I have.
I can't imagine going through such a difficult time and not believing in GOD.
Life would be hopeless.

"Our spirit remains..."

The face of evil was present
on that tragic September day
our people banned together
and as a nation we did pray.

The souls of those so innocent
gently lifted on the wings of the LORD,
carried into the embrace of Heaven
while America somberly mourned.

"Why?" we asked the LORD above,
How can humans be so cruel
to take the precious gift of life
disregarding the holy rule.

Did they not realize that in the taking,
though our hearts continually ache,
our strength, our faith, our allegiance,
and our spirits would not break.

Our commitment is to eachother
through the deeds of all so brave,
our compassionate men and women
who unselfishly work to save.

Our gifts of support, and love, and faith
are what we all can share,
so Father above please hear my plea
and keep us in your care.

From sea to sea and heart to heart
America will proudly stand,
for this evil has not weakened the soul
of the faithful in our great land.

GOD bless us all...

Dear God
Do you see all those thousands of new people?
up there with you,
please don't be scared,
they're innocent people, who shouldn't be there,
tell them they are safe now,
please protect them, God,

they shouldn't have died, God
don*t let them cry,
they were brave, so brave,
some were even heroes,
show them to be brave,
and help protect us,

people are still at home, God,
waiting watching, sitting by the phones,
they know in their hearts... no one will call,
everywhere I turn,
there are tears,

God, help us... lead the way,
we are screaming on the inside,
no one can hear us,
we are all hurting,
we are breaking down,
help us to be strong,

They are all missed,
and always will be in our hearts,
if you see the bad people, up there
don*t let them in, God
send them away!
tell them we hate them for all the
pain they put us threw,

protect everyone,
tell them they are all missed,
we will all meet again,
we all know in our heart
they are all in the arms of the angels,
we all know it is so hard to say good-bye,

take care of them God...

Life and death, energy and peace

It maybe that most things just happen, but others seem to have a transcript that is already shaped and planned and escapable, perfect as a circle.

If some things form a perfect circle others take shape in ways we can not predict or always understand. Loss has been a part of Americas journey, but it has also shown us what is precious, so has the love for which we can only be grateful.

Days have past from 911 day and the sorrow is still within us and will be for time to come. Only time will heal the pain that has burned and scared Americas soul, but it will never take away the memory. And the earth will not conceal the blood shed on thee.

Our heart has fallen and was shattered into many pieces, those pieces can only be put together by time and the unity of Americans.

Today when we look at the red, white and blue we can be proud, we might not see it yet, but America will rise again and rise high.

We can only hope and pray that when we look back at this day we will not have any regrets but a feeling of victory and freedom.

This will be a day that Americans will never forget, not only because of the pain it represents but because of the pride that was suddenly taken from us, but we will win it back.

Our prayers and hopes should go to those that have lost their lives, that are lost or to those who have lost in the attack against America.

God bless the nation of all nations, god bless America

A COUNTRY UNITED

The world on pause as all who mourn
Lower our heads, our hearts forlorn.
Men and women patrol ground zero
Not one concerned with being the hero
But all determined to right this wrong
By continuing to search, their will held strong.
Through the smoke, the ash, the tears,
These angels on earth, subsiding their fears
Placing their Faith in God above
A God who heals, a God of love.
Believing that to save just one
Could give a mother back her only son
Or a husband back his beloved wife,
How precious is this gift of life.
The evil displayed this fateful day
Touches our hearts in the most disturbing way.
But it cannot touch our strength as one
A country united, not unraveled, undone.
Hatred will not tear apart
The free world our forefathers fought to start.
Americans will unite again
And terrorism will NEVER win.
Please bow your head as we remember
Those who gave their lives but refused to surrender.
Out of the ashes our strength will rise
Our hearts will shine, we will wipe our eyes
Although the horror in our hearts will stay
Well prevail together, this family, the U.S.A.

The Power of Freedom

I know you're celebrating
what your evil deeds have wrought
But with the devastation
something else you've also brought

For nothing is more powerful
than Americans who unite
Who put aside their differences
and for freedom fight

Each defenseless victim whose
untimely death you caused
And every fallen hero
whose brave life was lost

Has only served to strengthen
our national resolve
Each freedom-loving citizen
will surely get involved

You've galvanized our nation
into a force so strong
We'll end your reign of terror
although the fight is long

For every heart that's broken
ten million will stand tall
and every tear that's falling
is the mortar for it all

And when this war is over
one thing I know is sure
Our country will be greater
and our freedom will endure

Lots of love to everyone.
May God Bless you.

The Day:

On the day that many died;
Was the day the angels cried.
The sulfur, the smell;
That terrible smell. It is the smell that is like hell.
The grass, it screamed;
The wind, it sighed;
On the day the angels cried.

The planes, they hit;
The people, they screamed;
The sight of debris falling on everything.
The people, they yelled;
The people, they died.
On the day the angels cried.

Osama Bin Laden;
America's Most Wanted:
If I die before you;
It's guaranteed you'll be haunted.
Because the heroes, they cared;
And the heroes, they died;
On the day the angels cried.

The firefighters, doctors, police and others;
Children crying, clinging to their mothers.
It was like a death pit, swarming with evil;
But the heroes did their jobs, despite the weasel.
Bin Laden, Bin Laden, you can run and hide;
But you can't change the fact you made the angels cry.

September 11th, the World Trade Center
These are things that will be remembered.
The threats that were made,
The tears that were shed,
Shall never mean our freedom is dead.
Because on that day, our feelings, hope, and love flied.
For it was the day that the angels cried.

In God's Hands

Though there are some that have fear,
In this bewildering time.
Let us strengthen our faith in God,
And remember his love sublime.

God always has a purpose,
And always has a plan.
For those that love and follow Him,
Though we do not understand.

Let us put away our doubts,
In the darkness find the light.
Have hope and wait patiently,
For God to end our plight.

God is always with us,
Even though we cannot see.
Let us follow in His footsteps,
So His witness we may be.

As the eagle soars above the storm.
He knows the storm will end.
We are in our Father's hands,
Our country we will mend.

GOT MY ANSWER

Today I watched the morning news
and wondered why again
that grief could cut just like a knife
into the soul of man.

Interviews and daily talk shows
still not being able to believe
how mighty strong and towering buildings
now lay in crumpled heaps.

At noon I watched again in awe
as the greyhound was taken down
inocent souls in pain in death
lay strewn upon the ground.

The evening news was non the better
the threat of bombs on a bus
I watched in disbelief
at what had become of us

What have we done to any one
to make them want to harm
to maime and kill our loved ones dear
and fill our lives with alarm.

I turned to the only place I know
to find answers to questions like these
I found myself with BIBLE in hand
sobbing on my knees.

OH GOD I cried with swollen eyes
please come and heal OUR land
and like an echo from above HE said
"NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL STAND".

The words that came from GOD'S own word
was a promise from GOD to man
keep your faith and trust in ME
AMERICA SHALL RISE AGAIN.

Should you go first and I remain, to walk the road alone,
I'll live in memories garden dear, with the happy days we've known.

In spring I'll watch for Roses Red, when face the Lilac Blue,
and in early fall when brown leaves call, I'll catch a glimpse of you.

Should you go first and I remain, to finish with the scroll,
no lengthy shadows shall creep in, to make this life seem droll.

We've known so much of Happiness, and we had our cup of joy,
But memory is one gift of GOD, death can not destroy.

Should you go first and I remain, for battles to be fought,
each thing you touch along the way, will be a hallow spot.

I'll hear your voice, I'll see your smile, and though blindly I may grow,
the memory of your helping hand, will bore me on with hope.

Should you go first and I remain, one thing I'd have you do,
walk slowly down that long long path, for soon I'll follow you.

I'll want to know each step you take, that I may walk the same,
for someday, someday along that lonely road dear, you'll hear me call your name.

America My Beloved
by Joann Ryan-Stanley

Tuesday, September 11th, her
fabric was ripped and torn.
America fell to her knees
and said, " I have been scorned."

The scars etched deep
within her gut, she writhed,
and then stood up.

She looked down
and saw her strength.
It was in her people, and she
began to think.

She looked up
and called to God,
who bound her wounds
and made her Spirit strong.
And she cried out, "I'm still here,
I did not die, I will go on!"

She gathered her robes
around her shores,
and the people she loved
loved her even more.

America marches on,
proud, brave and free.
A stronger America
lives in you and me.

PLEASE GIVE TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

I am the flag of the UNITED STATES

I am the flag of the United States of America.
My name is Old Glory.
I fly atop the world's tallest buildings.
I stand watch in America's halls of justice.
I fly majestically over institutions of learning.
I stand guard with power in the world.
Look up at me and see me.

I stand for peace, honor, truth and justice.
I stand for freedom.
I am confident.
I am arrogant.
I am proud.

When I am flown with my fellow banners,
my head is a little higher,
my colors a little truer.

I bow to no one!
I am recognized all over the world.
I am worshipped - I am saluted.
I am loved - I am revered.
I am respected - and I am feared.

I have fought in every battle of every war
for more then 200 years.
I was flown at Valley Forge, Gettysburg,
Shiloh and Appamatox.
I was there at San Juan Hill,
the trenches of France,
in the Argonne Forest, Anzio, Rome
and the beaches of Normandy, Guam, China/Burma/India, Okinawa, Korea
and KheSan, Saigon, Vietnam, and now me, my own battle.
I was there.
I led my troops,
I was dirty, battleworn and tired,
but my soldiers cheered me
And I was proud.
I have been burned, torn and trampled
on the streets of countries I have helped set free.
It does not hurt, for I am invincible.

I have been soiled upon, burned, torn
and trampled on the streets of my own country.
And when it's by those whom I've served in battle - it hurts.
But I shall overcome - for I am strong.

I have slipped the bonds of Earth
and stood watch over the uncharted frontiers of space
from my vantage point on the moon.
I have borne silent witness
to all of America's finest hours.
But my finest hours are yet to come.

When I am torn into strips
and used as bandages
for my wounded comrades on the battlefield,
When I am flown at half-mast to honor my soldier,
Or when I lie in the trembling arms
of a grieving parent
at the grave of their fallen son or daughter,
I am proud.

MY NAME IS OLD GLORY
LONG MAY I WAVE.
